Optimization of solutions in terms of cost reduction in the 15-year life cycle of the building, design of ventilation, heating and cooling, water and sewage, gas, as well as connections for water, sewage and gas.
The complex consists of 4 buildings: a gymnasium, technical school, laboratory and a sports hall with a swimming pool. The buildings use the latest technologies to reduce energy consumption. Five different variants of the heat substation were compared, taking into account investment and operational costs as well as utility considerations. The most favorable variant was selected, which used the following devices to meet heat demand: co-generation unit, ground-water heat pumps, hybrid solar collectors, gas boiler and heat recovery from wastewater.
Due to problems with draining rainwater, a water retention system was used on green roofs and in retention reservoirs on the investment site. Surplus water will be stored and used to water the sports pitch and grass during dry periods.
